Elizabeth Pal is a Washington, D.C.–based building designer and consultant known for creating elevated, highly tailored homes that seamlessly blend timeless sophistication with thoughtful functionality. Her journey began in the corporate world at IBM and Deloitte, where she specialized in business process reengineering and large-scale project management. During her final year at Deloitte, Elizabeth joined an innovative Think Tank experience that sparked a realization: her passion for strategic thinking and design could transform into creating extraordinary spaces.
In 2016, Elizabeth founded Hudson Gray Design, a luxury residential design firm dedicated to crafting exceptional homes across the country. From custom new builds to transformative renovations, Hudson Gray Design has become known for creating refined, deeply personal interiors and residences layered with warmth, beauty, and intentionality. Elizabeth approaches each project with both a designer’s eye and a strategist’s mindset—guiding clients through every stage of the process while shaping homes that feel as remarkable as they are livable.
Whether envisioning grand architectural details, richly layered interiors, or one-of-a-kind moments that define a home, Elizabeth believes exceptional design should tell a story and create a lasting emotional connection.
Above all, her greatest inspiration comes from her two sons, Hudson and Grayson, whose creativity, perspective, and joy continue to shape both her life and her work.
